AMD has rather silently introduced and detailed the new Instinct MI430X, a data-center accelerator aimed at large-scale AI and high-performance computing (HPC). The new AMD Instinct MI430X will power several AI and HPC systems, including Discovery, at Oak Ridge National Laboratory, and the recently announced Exascale-class system in Europe, Alice Recoque.
