SanDisk has apparently walked away from three patent claims it has against Transcend.

According to a press release from Transcend it has received notification from the US District Court for the Western District of Wisconsin that SanDisk has withdrawn its patent infringement complaint filed on October 2007 against it.

Two years ago SanDisk filed three patent infringement actions against 25 companies that manufacture, sell and import USB flash drives, CompactFlash (CF) cards, multimedia cards (MMC), digital media players and/or other removable flash storage products in the US.

It is not clear at this point if it has withdrawn its complaints against the other companies.
