GTC 2015: GM200 GPU, 3072 CUDA cores and US $999 price tag

After a few teases at the Game Developers Conference earlier this year, Nvidia has now formally unveiled its new Geforce GTX Titan X graphics card based on the 28nm GM200 Maxwell GPU.

Full GM200 specifications and pictures

First teased during GDC 2015 last week, we now have full specifications of the upcoming Nvidia Titan X graphics cards, as well as a bunch of pictures showing the graphics card in all its glory.

Bringing Maxwell to mid-range notebooks

While the mobile GTX 980M and GTX 970M GPUs  can be seen in plenty of high-end gaming notebooks, Nvidia has now unveiled a couple of new mid-range mobile Maxwell GPUs, the GTX 960M and the GTX 950M.

3DMark benchmarks revealed

While we wait to see the official specifications of the Nvidia GTX Titan X graphics card, unveiled by CEO Jen-Hsun Huang during Epic Games' GDC 2015 press event, we now have the first benchmarks, reportedly showing the performance of the Titan X in 3DMark 11 Extreme preset.

GTX 980, GTX 970, GTX 960 and GTX 970M and above

Nvidia has announced its latest bundle which will include CD Projekt Red's upcoming The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt game bundled with Geforce GTX 980, GTX 970, and GTX 960 discrete cards, as well as notebooks with Geforce GTX 970M and above GPUs.

Could be a big selling point

One item of note that was missing last night from the press conference announcement of the new Nvidia Shield Android TV platform was support for 4K UHD content. 

12GB frame buffer and 8 billion transistors

Nvidia CEO Jen-Hsun Huang was a guest at Epic Games' GDC press event and he used the occassion to unveil the new GTX Titan X graphics card.

Standard, SuperSC and FTW versions

EVGA has announced new additions to its Geforce lineup, including no less than three different GTX 960 graphics cards with 4GB of GDDR5 memory, standard one, GTX 960 4GB SSC and the GTX 960 FTW.

GDC 2015: 4K TV, gaming and streaming device coming in May

During its Made to Game event at Game Developers Conference 2015 in San Francisco, Nvidia unveiled the newest member of the Shield family, a set-top box running Android TV, simply called Shield.
